Kaspa Hub was launched on June 2, 2025 with no corporate backing. Our mission is to make the Kaspa protocol accessible, understandable, and practical for everyone - from curious beginners to seasoned developers and contributors.

Kaspa Hub is funded through community donations and website advertisements, ensuring we remain fully independent and aligned with our users.

Kaspa is a high-performance proof-of-work Layer-1 blockDAG that utilizes the revolutionary GHOSTDAG consensus protocol and blockDAG architecture. This design enables parallel block creation, delivering exceptional scalability and near-instant transaction confirmations while maintaining full decentralization and robust security.

Currently operating at 10 blocks per second with average transaction finality times of approximately 7 seconds, Kaspa offers a powerful foundation for fast, secure value transfer. Powered by the efficient kHeavyHash algorithm and launched fairly in November 2021 without premines or allocations, network continues to evolve with ambitious development goals, including higher block rates and advanced smart contract capabilities.
